CM’s Ignored Kakinada All These Years: YSRCP
Kakinada: The Chandrababu Naidu government has done nothing to improve the amenities in Kakinada and the city has been languishing for the past three years after the TDP assumed power, said senior YSRCP leader and former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao on Saturday.
He told the media that the AP Government has the dubious record of issuing over 1500 GOs on the sly.
"In general, the governments issue four to five GOs on specific occasions during a five year term. But the Chandrababu government has issued tens of hundreds of GOs," he said.
Dharmana recalled the promises that Chandrababu Naidu had made to the people of Kakinada Municipal Corporation before coming to power in 2014. Chandrababu Naidu had promised to set up a university and a state-of-art port facility. But nothing has been implemented so far, he said.
"No action has been taken against the turncoat MLAs so far. The government has implemented several things that the the Sivaramakrishnan Committee did not recommended. The TDP government ignored the suggestions made by experts and individuals and the public hearings were mere shams," he said.
