CM predicts CBI case against Naidu

"Chandrabau Naidu is the most corrupt chief ministers the State ever had," said Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today.

Addressing a gathering on the first day of his Indiramma Bata in Prakasam district, he came down heavily on Naidu. The Chief Minister predicted that the CBI would soon file a case against Naidu under the court directions, he said. The Chief Minister said that Naidu was involved in the IMG land scam that took place during his nine-year tenure. He gave away the lands that are worth Rs 1 crore an acre at a throwaway price of Rs 50,000, an acre.

Naidu had thus allocated 450 acres of prime land to IMG which had cost the exchequer heavily, Reddy maintained. Already the CBI has the records and under the directions from the court, the agency would soon file a case against him, he observed.
