CM Kiran to resign?
Minister Pithani Satyanarayana on Monday said that the stage was set for the resignation of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Pithani on a visit to Chinchinada, Yalamanchili mandal of West Godavari district to inaugurate development programmes said that CM was going to tender his resignation in February, which will be immediately followed by Pithani's resignation.
He added that the Congress High Command expressed its opinion in favour of Telangana, later when a movement erupted in Seemandhra, other parties backtracked.
Under these circumstances, the Congress party alone suffered the blame of bifurcation, he said.
"We, under the Leadership of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy strongly stand for a united Andhra," Pithani said. According to reports, many politicians feel that Pithani was just repeating what the CM asked him to say.
