CM Kiran to announce his own party on Jan 23
Hyderabad, The split in Andhra wing of Congress party is out in open, after an MLA from North Andhra confirmed that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will launch his own party on January 23.
Preparations for the same is going on in full swing and paucity of time has forced the CM to stick with the party name he had registered last year.
According to reports, Kiran is not sure of the number of MLAs that will support him, but he has assured everyone that he is ready to bear all the election expenses, even if it runs in crores. Sources add that the CM is confident of the support of Seemandhra ministers, as they are disillusioned with the Congress's stubborn stand on T bill.
Reports indicate that the CM might be supported by S Sailajanath (Anantapur dist), Erasu Pratap Reddy and TG Venkatesh (Kurnool), K Partha Sarathi ( Krishna), Pitani Satyanarayana (W Godavari), Ganta Srinivasa Rao (Vizag), Kasu Venkata Krishan Reddy (Guntur) and Thota Narasimham (E Godavari). Among the senior leaders, J C Diwakar Reddy (Anantapur), Gade Venkata Reddy (Guntur), Rayapati Sambasiva Rao (Guntur), Ananta Venkatarami Reddy (Ananatapur), Sabbam Hari (Vizag).
Moreover, his brother Santosh Reddy has already searching a place in Jubilee Hills road no.45 and 36 to house the new party and will make party name and logo public, soon.
January 23, incidentally is the last day for discussions on Telangana Bill.
