CM Kiran Kumar Reddy to quit tomorrow?
Will Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy resign on Thursday, the day AP re-organisation Bill will be introduced Lok Sabha? Or, will he and Congress hit upon a compromise?
Andhra political circles were, on Wednesday, was abuzz with rumours of CM's pending resignation. Sources add that the CM himself has said that if the Bill is introduced, he will tender his resignation. Many other leaders will also follow suit.
On January 29, the CM, defying his own party, had made a strong statement in the assembly. Calling the Telangana Bill flawed, Kiran said that if the same Bill was introduced in the Parliament he will quit politics. On Thursday the Bill will be introduced, but will CM honour his promise?
Interestingly, many leader have criticised the CM's sudden anti-bifurcation enthusiasm. Many leaders included, Deputy CM, have questioned the timing of CM's rebellion, and have questioned as to why he kept quiet when Congress Working Committee came out with the decision to bifurcate the state.
