KCR-Chandrababu Water War Goes to Uma Bharti’s Chamber
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao will leave for Delhi on Tuesday night to attend apex council meeting on river water sharing between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Irrigation minister Hareesh Rao will also accompany KCR.
Apex council meeting will be held on Wednesday at 2.30 PM. Union Water Resource Minister Uma Bharti is It’s chairperson and the members are KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting will take place at Uma Bharti’s chamber in Sramasakthi Bhavan.
KCR also wrote a letter to Uma Bharti expressing his dissatisfaction over the members of the committee on Krishna water usage. KCR will mainly raise objections on Pothireddypadu project, located in Kurnool district of AP, at apex council meeting. State chief secretary Rajeev Sarma and Irrigation department principal secretary will also accompany KCR.
