CM in Ananthapur, TDP leaders under house arrest

Following the tour of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in Ananthapur district, police  placed under house arrest some of the TDP leaders in the district.

Police has made preventive arrests to so that the CM's tour in the district is not affected.

MLAs under house arrest are—Parthasarathi, Raghunath Reddy and Paritala Sunitha.

On the other hand, Congress leaders in the district were struggling to mobilise crowds for CM's visit.

It is learnt that Badvel MLA Kamalamma issued orders to dealers asking them to bring at least 100 members for the CM's meet. She also told them that they risked the threat of losing their dealership if they failed to do so.
