CM defends Sabitha, Dharmana in meeting with Sonia - Sakshi Post

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Friday afternoon. The CM is believed to have discussed about the current political situation in the state, reshuffle of the cabinet and also about the tainted ministers.

Sources said that Kiran reportedly defended a few tainted ministers, saying that Sabitha Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao are innocent. The CM requested Sonia to take action against those who are deliberately trying to spoil the image of the party. He also discussed about changing Sabitha's portfolio. Kiran also took the opportunity to give an explanation to the Congress High Command on the comments being made against him.

Meanwhile, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana met Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. It is learnt that same issues were tabled at that meeting too.
