The Andhra Intellectuals Association expressed strong protest against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's indifference towards the demand for AP's special status. In a statement, president of the association Chalasani Srinivas said PM had insulted the people by ignoring their demand for which youths are even ready to give their lives. "It was shocking that the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu did not even try to remind the Prime Minister about special status," Srinivas said.
