Hyderabad city police imposed prohibitory orders that ban public meetings and processions from August 13 to 19.
Hyderabad: The city police imposed prohibitory orders that ban public meetings and processions, from August 13 to 19.
The orders were passed on Thursday by Hyderabad Police Commissioner M. Mahender Reddy. As per the order, usage of mikes and public address systems, meetings are prohibited in areas around secretariat, government offices in the secretariat vicinity and Tank bund area.
Carrying of weapons, knives and explosives during the ban period are liable for prosecution, the statement added.
