City Doctor Killed By Brother-in-Law Over Extramarital Affair

Hyderabad: Dr Syed Mairajuddin, a cardialogist running a clinic in Vijaynagar Colony here was killed by his wife's brother on Tuesday night.
Two assailants came to Syed Mairajuddin Cardio Clinic in the guise of patients at around 9.30pm when there were not many patients around. They entered the doctor's room and stabbed him indiscriminately. A panicked Mairajuddin ran out of his room but collapsed in the reception area and died on the spot.
The assailants fled the spot after ensuring the death of their target.
Police are yet to identify the culprits but a manhunt is on.
The doctor is said to have married thrice and divorced another wife. According to the eye witness account, the assailants could be the brother of one of his ex-wives as one of them yelled at the doctor something to suggest about injustice done to his sister.
