Christmas Spirit Engulfs Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Christmas gaiety erupted from the midnight on Friday with devout Christians offering prayers at various churches in the city.Carols, sermons and preaching in churches and on streets brought in the festive mood for the day. Bedecked in their finest, churches all over the city were thronged by thousands of believers who participated in special prayers. People exchanged greetings, gifts and cakes on the occasion.

Christmas was celebrated with pomp and gaiety and brotherly spirit in both the Telugu states.
