Chittoor: Minor girl raped, murdered

In another shocker, residents of Chittoor district woke up to the news of rape on Friday.
According to reports, Sudhakar kidnapped a Class VII girl when she was on her way back from school.
The incident happened at TVNR Puram village in Palasamudram on Thursday.
He not just raped her but also killed the minor girl. The accused hit the girl's head with stone with the fear that she will reveal to her parents, police said. The victim died on the spot.
The incident came to light only today. Locals who found the body informed the police. Police has sent the body for postmortem and a case has been registered against Sudhakar.
