Chit Fund fraud: TV artiste's brother grilled by police

The Hyderabad police on Tuesday took into custody, Telugu television serial artiste Vijaya Rani's brother. Vijay Rani had duped nearly 70 people off Rs 5 crore, collecting the money in the name of chit funds.  

Police are said to be grilling Rani's brother to ascertain her whereabouts.  Her colleagues, recently filed a complaint against Rani in the Central Crime Station (CCS).  (Read Here)

The artist vacated her Yellareddyguda house in Hyderabad and shifted her entire luggage in a lorry on March 10. The owner of the house told the same to the police, who went there to investigate.
