Chiru seeks MLC ticket for Kotagiri?

Union Minister for Tourism Chiranjeevi is understood to have proposed the name of Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao for MLC ticket.

Chiranjeevi moved a proposal for MLC ticket to either Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao or Gowtham, leaders of his erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party (PRP). He spoke to  PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana over phone and made this proposal, sources said. 

The Congress party proposed some names for the five MLC posts and AICC president Sonia Gandhi has already finalised the list of candidates.  The candidates proposed by Congress high command are Lakshmi Siva Kumari of East Godavari, Shabbir Ali, former minister from Nizamabad, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy from Khammam, Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy of Vizianagaram and Santhosh Kumar of Karimnagar.
