Chiranjeevi’s 150th film makes family turn to God
Superstar Chiranjeevi will turn 61 on Monday and his house is donning a festive look. Interestingly the excitement is not about the actor’s birthday celebration, but the actor’s comeback 150th flick Kathilantodu.
The whole family is busy performing pujas for the success of the movie, which has gone on the floors a few months ago. Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha, accompanied by a few family members, visited a small temple near Srikakulam for a puja for the success of the movie a couple of days ago. The other day, Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu performed a special puja at the famous Skandagiri Temple for Kathilantodu. Chiranjeevi’s nephews Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej have also decided to go to pay obeisance at various temples in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to pray for the grand success of his prestigious film.
The megastar is currently shooting for an action scene at a private studio. The actor has been working hard for the film and is very happy about the outcome so far, according to a source. “Even at this age, Chiranjeevi is looking very smart and everyone is surprised by his energy during the action scenes,” quoted Deccan Chronicle quoting a source from the unit.
The movie directed by V.V. Vinayak is a remake of Tamil hit Kaththi and is produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan. Kajal will be playing the female lead in the movie.
