Chiranjeevi meets sonia

While the problems for the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh continued to mount, actor-turned-Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi met party Chief Sonia Gandhi today in Delhi. He explained to her  the situation arising out of Dharmana Prasada Rao's resignation and the   on going crisis in the party.

Asked whether he discussed the  issue of ministers bringing pressure on the CM, he refused to offer any comments.
Meanwhile, former minister, Shankara Rao also met Sonia in the parliament.
 Sources said that Shankar Rao complained against chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and was said to have told her that it was not the failure of the Congress party in AP but the failure of Kiran's government. 
The CM  also reached Delhi and is likely to  meet Chidambaram and Antony.
