Even after five days, Telugu film child artiste Narla Teja, who drowned in river Ganga near Rishikesh on Tuesday, was not yet traced.

The tragedy took place on Tuesday and the efforts of officials to trace the body yielded no result even after five days.

Teja (16) acted in films like Murari and Ramadandu and was honoured with Nandi award in 2009. He was pursuing his intermediate at Miri Piri Academy at Cheherta in Punjab. He was on the picnic to Rishikesh. He went for swimming along with six of his friends. He drowned and efforts to save him proved futile. Teja is the son of N Sridhar, popular videographer in Tollywood. He was a resident of Motinagar at Mehdipatnam.
