Chevireddy slaps defamation case against Eenadu, Parakala

A legal notice was served on AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's media advisor Parakala Prabhakar and Eenadu groups chairman Ramoji Rao by YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy for deliberately tarnishing his reputation.

In his legal notice, he demanded damages to the tune of Rs 20 lakhs to be paid within 15 days.
Strongly rebutting the allegations made by Parakala Prabhakar and Ramoji Rao of publishing it in his new paper ‘Eenadu’ without taking his statement, the YSRCP MLA alleged that they were trying to malign him deliberately.
He also mentioned in the notice that though he had given explanation, Eenadu propagated a false story against him.

Parakala Prabhakar questioned Bhaskar Reddy as to why the government should provide a pension for his father when he is financially fit?.

Chevi Reddy wrote to the officials asking them how come his father name appeared in the list. The officials then replied him that none has claimed the pension till now from that account and name was registered due to the mistake of the officials.
