Chess queen finds her king

World-rank chess player Koneru Humpy will, in a deft move, get engaged to handsome knight on Wednesday.

The groom-to-be Dasari Anvesh is the son of city-based industrialist Dasari Ramakrishna, CEO of Efftronics Private Limited. The marriage will be a private affair and close friends of the couple would attend the wedding ceremony being organised at the ‘A’ Convention Hall in Vijayawada. The wedding will be in accordance with the Hindu religious rites.
The engagement took place on May 22.
The who's who of the chess fraternity is expected toattend. The Arjun awardee looks adorable in her traditional attire.
