Change Registration from AP to TS

Hyderabad: In another development, the department also made it compulsory to change all registrations of AP to TS in Telangana. The the conversion of registrations started sometime back, it was halted for a while due to some technical reasons. An order will be issued in 15 days, the officials said in a statement. For this, the owners of the vehicles have to contact the dealers to change to the new high-security number plates.

The owners can get a new number with ‘TS’ series after entering the old number in the concerned website and the printed copy of the same should be given to the dealers where they can get the high-security number plate. Rs. 350 for two wheelers and Rs. 550 for four wheelers will be charged for the change of number plate. Officials opine that it would take very long time for 70 lakh vehicles that are registered with AP series to get the new number plates with TS series in Telangana.
