Chandrababu Thinks He Can Buy Anything With Money

The only asset I have is value based politics and the legacy of YSR’s ideals - Sakshi Post

The misplaced arrogance of Chandrababu Naidu has sprung from his ill-gotten wealth, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said.

Addressing a string of road-shows in Nandyal he said, "Chandrababu Naidu has ignored Nandyal all these years and has suddenly developed keen interest only after the by-poll date was announced. This shows his opportunism and he, his ministers and MLAs have been blatantly using money and muscle power to win the elections by hook or crook. The arrogance of Chandrababu Naidu can be seen in the ruling party's attempt to lure voters on community basis. They are baiting some social groups with sops while some others are being threatened with the help of official machinery. He is afraid of facing the people as he had neglected all the social groups and all sections of people all these days," he said.’

The rampant corruption and the ill-gotten wealth went to the head of Chandrababu Naidu and the arrogance has grown along with his wealth, he said.

"The only asset I have is value based politics and the legacy of YSR’s ideals while Chandrababu Naidu has reached a stage where he thinks he can buy anyone with money. This is nothing but arrogance," he said.

His failed promise of waiving loans has brought hardships to farmers and DWCRA groups and he owes Rs 76,000 to every house towards unemployment stipend. Though he promised to give house sites, not a single house had come up so far, YS Jagan said. Kurnool itself has been bearing the brunt of his unfulfilled poll promises. He had promised to bring an airport, Urdu University, IIIT, Railway Wagon Factory, Food Park among others but not a single project has seen light of the day, he said.

"I appeal to vote for our candidate and summarily reject TDP which will be an indicator to the general elections coming in 2019. This is not a vote for MLA but it will be against the policies of Chandrababu Naidu being pursued for the past three years. This vote should reflect the ire of the people and serve as a warning to the leaders who go back on their poll promises," he said.
