Chandrababu talks about ‘arrest’

Beleaguered Chandrababu Naidu’s frustration is showing!

Enmeshed in the Cash for Vote scam, Chandrababu on Tuesday talked of arrest and said if he gets arrested, that will be the end of the TRS government in Telangana.

In a sweeping statement, Chandrababu told a national TV channel that the day they arrest him will be the last day of the TRS government. He accused TRS chief KCR of trying to threaten him and his party leaders. He further added that he is not going to answer KCR over issues such as phone-tapping. “KCR is resorting to mud-slinging. He is trying to divide TDP to strengthen himself,” he said.

He also criticized the Governor for swearing in TDP MLAs as TRS ministers.

Chandrababu, currently lodged in Taj Man Singh Hotel, is meeting key people in the Central Government to plead his case. He will also be meeting Prime Minister, President and other leaders.
