Chandrababu Should Tender Unconditional Apology to AP Engineers

Hyderabad: The YSRCP official spokesperson B Brahmananda Reddy on Monday demanded that Chandrababu Naidu tender an unconditional apology to the engineers of the state for demeaning them in the eyes of the world.

Addressing the media from the YSRCP Central Office in Hyderabad, Brahmananda Reddy asserted that it was not right on the part of the chief minister to look down upon the competency of our own people and sought to remind him that large projects such as the Nagarjunasagar, Srisailam and Prakasham barrage were constructed by our own engineers.

He accused the AP CM of creating a corrupt state of affairs where politicians are busy making profits out of developmental works from the village level and engineers are only made to do what their political masters desire of them.

Brahmananda Reddy pointed out to the ‘Neeru-Chettu program’ where the TDP government was already sanctioning the work completion bills of the vendors, when in reality, not even 10 percent of the works were completed.

Not satisfied with the thousands of crores of the public money that have been looted so far, Chandrababu now wants to snub our own engineers and sell away the capital development projects to foreign companies, he said.

He demanded to know how the AP government was giving away 58 percent of the stake to the Singapore company that was investing Rs 350 crore while retaining only 42 percent with the government that was investing Rs 5,500 crore.It is only with the intention of benefiting from the real estate deals that Chandrababu has sidelined our engineers and sold out to the foreign companies, he alleged.
