Chandrababu promises free rice, if comes to power

TDP president Chandrababu Naidu on Monday claimed that the cash transfer scheme introduced by the Centre was the brainchild of his party.

He announced that free rice scheme would be introduced if his party came to power. Addressing a gathering as part of “vastunna mee kosam” yatra in East Godavari district, Naidu said the Centre had copied his party’s idea of free rice scheme and implemented converting it as cash transfer scheme.
