Chandrababu Pledged AP’s Future To Centre: YSRCP

YSRCP MLA A Suresh and party Spokesperson Parthasarathy - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party Spokesperson and former minister Parthasarathy criticised Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu of pledging the state's future to the centre. Speaking to media persons here today at the party office, he pointed out that blocking of national highways programme held today was successful because of the people's participation in large numbers.

The YSRCP Spokesperson said that in 2016, TDP welcomed the Special Package offered by the centre instead of Special Category Status (SCS) to AP and he expressed anger over the change of stance by Chandrababu now. He said that AP CM doesn't have moral standing to criticise YSRCP after having been the NDA partner for the last four years and not done any work for the state's development.

Parthasarathy mentioned that TDP was confused after their political partner Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan made corruption accusations on Chandrababu and his son Lokesh. The TDP chief was confusing the people of the state by raising his voice against the centre and demanding SCS to AP, he added.

CAG Criticism

Talking to the media persons at the same press conference, YSRCP MLA A Suresh referring to the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India report, said that after the completion of Polavaram, the Pattiseema project will become invalid. He slammed the TDP for mentioning that the lifetime of Pattiseema would be 20 years in the Detailed Project Report.

Suresh alleged that the Pattiseema project contractor received 22 per cent extra payment. The corruption involved in the project was also brought into limelight by a public committee and it was the reason for postponing the public meeting in mid-way without any intimation, he added.
