Chandrababu Naidu slapped me: Pocharam Srinivas Reddy

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday revealed a controversial secret in the Assembly during the session.

When TDP MLA Revanth Reddy raised the issue of Nizam sugar factory’s privatization, Pocharam stated that when he was in TDP previously, he spoke about this to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who in turn slapped him.

He said, “When I asked for Nizam sugar factory’s privatization, Chandrababu Naidu slapped me. I haven’t spoken about this before. I told him that it was a main source for sugar and we earned around 10 units from it. When I asked him not to give it off to others, Chandrababu Naidu got up and slapped me, due to which I was badly hurt.”
