Chandrababu Naidu Siphoning of Funds Citing Drought: YSRCP

Hyderabad: Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy, YSRCP co-ordinator for Raptadu constituency, on Tuesday criticized Chandrababu Naidu for his corrupt practices as he and his associates are minting money in the name projects.

"Naidu is not leaving drought also. Taking undue advantage of funds released for drought-hit areas, the TDP government is diverting funds," said Reddy.

Chandrababu Naidu has failed to provide water to Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project, the longest water canal project in Rayalaseema. "But, on August 15, Naidu announced Rs-450-crore Bhairavanitippa project, which has to get water from Handri-Neeva, and Rs 50 crore on Perur Dam. How can he fulfil these promises, when he can’t bring water into Handri-Neeva project. This is nothing, but siphoning off hundreds of crores of rupees in the name of projects," criticized Reddy.
