Chandrababu meets BJP President Rajnath

Amid BJP's keenness to expand the NDA, TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday met BJP President Rajnath Singh for almost an hour.

He, however, claimed no politics was discussed during the meeting. The meeting assumes significance as BJP is scouting for partners for pre-poll and post-poll alliances in a bid to expand NDA.
The two leaders held almost an hour-long closed-door meeting at Rajnath Singh's residence in New Delhi and Naidu later told reporters that he had briefed the BJP chief on the current situation in Andhra Pradesh arising after Telangana state creation announcement.
This is not the time to discuss politics, Naidu said when asked if there was any possibility of the two parties getting together in any kind of alliance ahead or after next Lok Sabha elections.
When asked, Rajnath Singh denied any talks of political alliances during their meeting today.
