Chandrababu Indulging In Politics Of Selective Leaks To Media: YSRCP
YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana said here today that the people of Andhra Pradesh were disappointed that none of the commitments made at the time of bifurcation of the state were included in the Central budget. Addressing media persons at the party office here, he criticised AP chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for behaving like someone in exile and in a disguise at that (agnyaathavaasi).
Botsa questioned Chandrababu Naidu on his silence in matter. "Why can't Chandrababu grill the Centre on this"?, he said. He accused the AP chief minister of indulging in politics of leaks through select media channels. Botsa further slammed Chandrababu of resorting to token statements now. He pointed out that YSRCP had been in the forefront of the agitation demanding Special Category Status all along. Botsa reminded the media that it was YS Jagan who had intensified the movement demanding SCS and that the YSRCP Chief had given a clear ultimatum to the Centre on this issue. The YSRCP leader reiterated the fact that MPs belonging to their party would resign on April 6, if SCS is not granted till then.
Botsa also remarked that Pawan Kalyan had offered unsolicited advice on moving a No-Confidence motion, saying resignations of MPs were not sufficient, and that the YSRCP had included that aspect as well. Botsa further said that if Pawan was honest in his intentions, he should counsel the TDP and ask the ruling party to support the no-confidence motion. "I hope everyone joins hands with us to fight for SCS", the YSRCP leader said.
