Chandrababu craves for publicity: Chiranjeevi
Former union minister and Congress MP Chiranjeevi said that Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu has failed completely in helping Hudhud cyclone victims in the state.
Speaking to reporters in Anantapur on Thursday, he said that Chandrababu did not take up relief measures even when it was announced much in advance.
Chiranjeevi said that the chief minister is eager for publicity even in times of natural calamities.
“Chandrababu came to power with the promise of crop loan waiver. But, now that he has come to power, he is speaking in a different tone,” said the MP.
He blasted that the BJP government for being double-tongued on the issue of black money.
“Chandrababu don’t have any clout at the Centre. He failed in bringing special status for Andhra Pradesh. Why is he preferring to have the capital in agricultural lands? For land acquisition, the government should convince the farmers. Threats will not work,” said Chiranjeevi.
