Chandrababu, family pay obeisance in Tirumala

After his party's win in the recently concluded elections, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived at the hill temple in Tirumala along with his family members. 

The TDP chief was accorded a warm reception by the TTD and district officials.  

Talking to reporters after offering prayers, Chandrababu said that the venue for his swearing-in ceremony as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh will be announced soon. 

He added that Andhra Pradesh should be developed from the base level. "We will take all necessary steps to develop Tirumala," he said. Sources in the TDP say that the swearing-in ceremony will be held in Guntur on June 2.
