Chalo Day 5 Collections

Director Venky Kudumula's Chalo features Naga Shourya and Rashmika in the lead roles. It is for the first time, Shourya and Rashmika have shared screen space and their on-screen chemistry is also one of the major highlights of the film.

The film, which opened in theatres on February 2 is garnering a good response at the box office. The film has received a thumping response from the critics and audiences. The trailer and teaser of Chalo had already created enough hype among the audiences. Even this has helped the film fetch more numbers not to mention the love shown by the audiences for the new age movie content.

The film has grossed $533,092 at the foreign box office on the fifth day while in Telugu states it is said to have approximately collected Rs 11 Cr. The exact figures are yet to be known. The film was made a budget of Rs 10.5 Cr.

The makers are likely to mint profit in the coming two days as the collections are expected to take a beating after Friday which will see the release of two new Telugu flicks featuring Mega Heroes-- Varun Tej's Tholi Prema and Sai Dharam Tej's Intteligent. Watch this space for area-wise collections.
