Chalo assembly: Manda, Vivek arrested

MPs Manda Jagannadham, Vivek were arrested on Friday when they tried to march to the Assembly as part of the 'Chalo Assembly' protest called by pro-Telangana parties.
Police took into custody two MPs along with several TRS leaders including Vinod, Jitendar Reddy at Nizam Club opposite the assembly building.
Manda said that Telangana movement cannot be suppressed by the police forces. He also said that they would make chalo assembly a success.
"We strongly condemn the police repression. Our democratic right to express dissent is being suppressed," said Vivek.
