Chadalawada appointed as TTD chairman

Chadalawada Krishna Murthy has been announced the chairman of TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam).TTD is a autonomous body that looks after the administration activities of the Tirumala Lord Sri Venkateshwara Temple, but its governing authorities are elected by the state government. Though the promise of chair to Chadalawada has been made prior to the election on a consent for sacrificing the MLA seat, which the former MLA of Tirupati did. The orders took its own time to be doled out, given the strong competition that runs for the chair always. Given the high competition, the chair was kept vacant for about five or more months. The board apart from the chairman has 18 other board members appointed. Three of them MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraya and MLA Saianna  from the new neighboring state of AP, Telangana and one each from states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka
