Ch Vidyasagar Rao appointed Maharashtra governor - Sakshi Post

Former union home minister and senior BJP leader Ch.Vidyasagar Rao has been appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra on Tuesday.

Similarly, governors for three more states were also appointed.

Mrudula Sinha will be the Governor for Goa. V.R.Wala was appointed as the Governor for Karnataka and Kalyan Singh will be the Governor for Rajasthan.

President of India Pranab Mukherjee issued the orders relating to these appointments.

Vidyasagar Rao is a three-time MLA and two time MP. He worked as the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs in A.B.Vajpayee government.
