The post-release promotion of pawan kalyan's film 'Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu' has reached its peak without much effort.
It has created a big dilemma among film buffs. Only people who have watched the film will understand what the controversy is all about. But for those who haven't watched it remains a mystery. However, reports suggest that despite all the hue and cry, public still want to watch the movie.
Stating that the film insults Telangana Talli by showing the deity in bad light, TRS politburo member Sravan demanded a complete ban on the film.
Talking to media persons in Hyderabad, he slammed the filmmakers saying the movie promotes anti-Telangana sentiments and not just a few scenes, but the entire movie must be banned.
He strictly warned the film unit that they would not run the film in any part of the Telangana region. Sravan has not spared even the government, charging the government's commitee on the film as high drama, he has hit out at the government.
Meanwhile, The 'Jai Bolo Telangana' film director Shankar alleged that he got threatening messages from people who are said be fans of Pawan Kalyan, after he criticized the film.
The director said, he got calls and SMSes, saying he is not even eligible to comment on Pawan Kalyan. They even threatened to kill him. Revealing the phone numbers to the media, he said he would lodge a police complaint if he gets more messages.
He also iterated that the movie was disgusting and had no moral values or respect for woman and blind persons.
Panel to examine movie
The government on Saturday formed a panel to recommend deletion of objectionable scenes.
Minister for Information and Public Relations D.K. Aruna constituted a committee headed by Information and Public Relations Commissioner R.V. Chandravadan to assess the movie
The panel along with film producer Dil Raju and director Puri Jagannadh will watch the movie and make recommendations to the Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation.
