Centre Cancels Chennamaneni Ramesh’ Indian Citizenshop, Strips Him Off MLA Post

In a major shock to TRS MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh, the Central Government on Thursday cancelled his Indian citizenship. The SK Tandon Judicial Committee, which probed the issue of Vemulawada MLA's citizenship, said that he had obtained Indian citizenship on fake documents and that he continues to be a Germal citizen. The Central Government has also ordered that all the benefits that Ch Ramesh is enjoying as an Indian citizen and an MLA be cancelled forthwith.

With this, Chennamaneni Ramesh is all set to lose his MLA post. BJP leader Adi Srinivas has been fighting against Ch Ramesh on the issue of his citizenship since 2009.
