Cauvery Row: Tamil Nadu Govt Beefs Up Security For Rajnikanth, Prabhudeva

Chennai: Tamil Nadu government has increased security for Kollywood celebrities, who’re from Karnataka. Based on intelligence report, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha has been taking special care for celebrities in Chennai.

The TN government has deployed special security forces for superstar Rajnikanth and choreographer-turned director Prabhudeva as both are from Karnataka. We all know that Rajnikanth, erstwhile Shivajirao Gaikwad worked as bus conductor in Bengaluru.

The ongoing turmoil between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over sharing Kaveri river water is causing concerns in the Kollywood as well.
Kannadigas are not leaving any vehicle with TN registration in the State, while Tamil people are showing their ire on Kannadigas in Chennai.

Intelligence report further alerted the Tamil Nadu government that possible attacks on Rajnikanth, Prabhudeva, Bobby Simha, Ramesh Aravind, according to the sources.
