Cash of Votes: KCR conducts meetings galore

Hyderabad: After Tuesday's dramatic twists and turns in the Cash for Vote case. Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao held discussions with Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Sharma, Hyderabad Commissioner of police Mahendar Reddy and Anti-corruption Bureau Director General AK Khan.

The meeting assumes significance in view of the reports that the T government was planning to issue lookout notices for 20 TDP leaders, who, it believes, are involved in the Cash for Votes scam. There were a slew of meetings between KCR and top mandarins and the officials had met the Governor at least twice.

Sources have it that the police officials could be briefing KCR about the minutes of various meetings and future plan of action in connection with the scam. Senior leader Vem Narendar Reddy and Sattupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah would be questioned on Wednesday.
