Cash for Votes Scam: KCR briefs Governor

In a key development, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao met Governor ESL Narasimhan on Monday afternoon.

The meeting assumes significance in view of the reports that the T government is planning to issue notices to AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is being accused of being the kingpin of the Cash for Votes scam.

Sources said that with the Forensic report of the audio and video tapes being readied up, there are reports that Chandrababu too would be drawn into the Cash for Scam vortex. In view of this, the T government is likely to issue notices to Chandrababu Naidu.

Sources said KCR may have briefed the Governor about the developments in the Cash for Votes Scam.
