Case against Priyamani, Anushka over skimpy dresses
The Malkajgiri court on Friday directed the Ranga Reddy police to register a case against film actresses Priyamani and Anushka in connection with obscene and indecent costumes.
Acting on the directives, the police registered the case against them. The Court gave orders to this effect following a petition filed by social activist Subuddhi against the duo.
In the petition he alleged that Anushka and Priyamani wore skimpy dresses in their upcoming films. The court had admitted the petition and directed the police to book case against the heroines.
Earlier, Priyamani had commented "Can you show me where I exposed." She even justified herself by saying "we have to oblige if the scene demands it."
However, both heroines were not available to comment on the case today.
