Cambridge News Trending After Missing Front Page Headline!

Cambridge News published the paper without a headline on its very front page - Sakshi Post

We are all aware of the age-old adage 'to err is human'. This seems to have been taken way too seriously by the editorial staff of a local newspaper in England. What offence did they commit, you ask? Well, Cambridge News published the paper without a headline on its very front page. Yes, you read that right.

This gaffe has now become a headline for other news papers. The space where headline was to be placed, read“100PT SPLASH HEADING HERE.” Beneath it reads, "THIS IS A STRAP OVER TWO DECKS WITH A CROSS REFERENCE TO A PAGE HERE."

Incidentally, it carried two photographs which were captioned correctly leaving netizens in amusement as to how the gaffe happened. The Twitterti, not the ones to spare such goof ups, are having a field day, One of them read: "Front page ready to go? You checked it? Yeah, it’s good @CambridgeNewsUK." Some also said that this blooper can be carried in journalism course as a sample.
