By-poll for Warangal Lok Sabha seat on November 21

Hyderabad: The by-election to the Warangal Lok Sabha constituency will be held on November 21, the Election Commission of India said on Wednesday.
The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Kadiam Srihari, who was inducted into the Telangana state cabinet and made deputy chief minister in January.
The notification for the by-poll will be issued on October 28. The last date for filing of nominations will be November 4. The scrutiny of nominations will be held the next day.
According to the chief electoral officer of Telangana, November 7 will be the last date for withdrawal of candidature.
Counting of votes will be taken up on November 24.
