Businessmen robbed midway near Kadimpadu, lose 23 lakhs

Two small businessmen lost Rs 23 lakh in cash after miscreants smashed their car windows and made away with the bag containing cash.

The robbery happened near Kadimpadu of Peravalli mandal in West Godavari district.

According to reports, the driver, who had replanted the robbery stopped the car on the pretext of answering nature call. When the car owners stepped down from the car, the miscreants smashed the car's windows and stole the cash.

After reliasing their cash was stolen from the car, the victims lodged a complaint at the Kankipadu police station. Police revealed that it was the driver's plan. Police has launched a manhunt to nab the driver.
