Businessman held in cheating case in Hyderabad - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad,  City Police on Friday arrested a businessman on charge of cheating people to the tune of Rs 2 crore by claiming that he has got the central government's contract of providing computer education software to schools.

The accused, P Srinivasa Raju, was arrested from Habsiguda here on credible information, and during the course of investigation, he revealed that he had created forged and fake documents of the Ministry of Human Resource Development showing that he had got the contract of supplying computer education software installation.

He then collected the amount of about Rs 2 crore from the victims, police said. The accused induced the victims, mostly private teachers of different educational institutes, saying that he had undertaken the work under the name of Edusoft Technologies from the Ministry of HRD through an MoU for installation of software in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas located across the country, they said. Further investigation into the case is on.
