Bus strike affects AP Eamcet

Students in both the Telugu states are effected by the ongoing bus strike in AP and Telangana.

As many as 2.5 lakh AP students are scheduled to take the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) on May 8.
The government urged the students to reach the destined places a day ahead to avoid problems. Many students have reached Hyderabad on Thursday and many are yet struggling to reach their venue. The exam is scheduled to start at 10 am in all centres. Transportation tension added to exam tension to all inter students. Atleast  1,70,685 students are taking Eamcet to get admission into Engineering and remaining for Agriculture and Medical admissions. Eamcet for students opting for Engineering will have exam from 10 to 1 while the students opting for Agriculture and Medicine will take exam at 2:30 to 5:30.
Government urged school and engineering college managements to run buses free of cost for all exam-going students.
