Hyderabad: Telangana government’s failure in releasing fee reimbursement dues to private colleges has left over 1,200 BTech students future in jeopardy.

Post bifurcation, both the Telugu states agreed upon to reimburse colleges fee to students of their respective states, but for the past two years Telangana government didn’t reimburse fees to students studying in Andhra Pradesh.

One of the students Naresh, narrates his ordeal saying that he secured a seat in National Institute of Technology, Trichy but he couldn't take admission as the institution RGUKT, Nuzvid from where he finished his BTech didn’t give his original certificates due to fee dues of Rs 1.20 lakh.

There are many such fiascos being faced by the students and who rue that despite taking the issue to the notice of government they are not acting upon.

"For no fault of ours we are facing the brunt and are unable to move ahead despite having secured either a good seat or job," said a source.
