BSE’s Q3 Net Up 11%

Mumbai: Stock exchange major BSE on Friday reported a rise of 11.18 per cent in its net profit during the third quarter (Q3) ended December 31, 2017.

The stock exchange's net profit from total operations during the quarter under review rose to Rs 58.67 crore from Rs 52.77 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

According to the BSE, revenue from operations for Q3 FY18 surged by 45.48 per cent to Rs 125.70 crore from Rs 86.40 crore during the like period of 2016-17.

"The Board of Directors of the BSE... have recommended a payment of interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share of face value Rs 2 each," the BSE said in a statement.
