Breakthrough in Hema Sri death, driver held - Sakshi Post

The Bangalore police could finally achieve a breakthrough in the sensational death of Kannada TV artiste Hema Sri. The police today arrested Satish, driver of the Surendra Babu, the husband of Hema Sri.

Hema Sri was found dead in a farm house in Anathapur district last month under mysterious circumstances. Though the police of both Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were investigating into the case, they could not find any clue till now. However, the police suspected the hand of the driver of the couple and a search was on since then. Today finally they could catch the driver, who is absconding ever since the actress was found dead.

It may be mentioned here that Hema Sri died under mysterious circumstances in a farmhouse owned by former Congress Corporator Murali in Anantapur on October 9. The postmortem report revealed  that she died due to an overdose of chloroform.

Police arrested Hema Sri's husband Suredndrababu, who is already in custody. With the arrest of the driver now, the police are hoping that they will get the exact cause behind the murder.
